Patients can present some anatomic limitations that prevent ideal implant placement, and it might be necessary to reconstruct the alveolar ridge. Intraoral autogenous bone grafts are the ideal source for the reconstruction of small deficiencies. Mandibular symphysis or mandibular ramus area (or both) may be used for bone harvesting. Use of intraoral sites has many advantages compared with the use of extraoral sites.Abstract
